1 Nephi 11:26 “…Look and behold the condescension of God!”
Merriam-Webster Dictionary’s definition of condescension “Voluntary descent from one’s rank or dignity in relations with an inferior.”
Moses 1:33, 35: And worlds without number have I created; and I also created them for mine own purpose; and by the Son I created them, which is mine Only Begotten…But only an account of this earth, and the inhabitants thereof, give I unto you. For behold, there are many worlds that have passed away by the word of my power. And there are many that now stand, and innumerable are they unto man; but all things are numbered unto me, for they are mine and I know them.
“Truly, the observation made by Enoch the Seer is literally one of the grandest understatements of all time: ‘And were it possible that man could number the particles of the earth, yea, millions of earths like this, it would not be a beginning to the number of thy creations; and thy curtains are stretched out still’ (Moses 7:30). Such are the sweeping and incomprehensible powers of Jesus the Creator.” The Premortal Godhood of Christ: A Restoration Perspective by Andrew C. Skinner.
Consider the greatness, power, and glory that Jesus possessed before He descend to the earth He created. Jesus chose to descend below all things so man could rise above all things. What do you think that means about how do you think Jesus feels actually feels about YOU?
Consider the “worlds without number” that have been created. You were sent to live on the same earth that Jesus lived on. We can walk where Jesus actually walked. What do you think that means about how Heavenly Father feels about you? Does that add to your understanding of the phrase “Holy Land?”
